Filtration and Contamination Control - Intermediate

Filtration is the act or process of filtering or separating insoluble particulate matter from a fluid, especially the process of passing a liquid or gas, such as air, through a filter in order to remove solid particles. Contamination control is the control of fine particulate in lubricants that is key in maximizing the long term life of critical components, especially those in hydraulic systems.
