Creating and building valuable professional connections is what STLE is all about in helping you and your company compete in the global business environment. STLE brings industry, academic and government researchers together to learn and share best practices and technological advances in the field of tribology and lubrication engineering. The society offers networking opportunities for lubrication professionals to connect with others in the same or related fields.

STLE holds three industry events each year:
  • STLE Annual Meeting & Exhibition, held each May, is the lubricant industry's most respected venue for technical information, professional development and international networking opportunities. STLE's annual meeting features technical presentations, education courses, an exhibitor trade show showcasing the latest products, services and technologies and much more!
  • Tribology Frontiers Conference, held during the fall, is for industry, academic and government researchers to share tribology's most cutting edge research and explore the role our science can play in solving future scientific and societal changes. The TFC offers a unique opportunity for thought-leaders to network with top tribology professionals.
  • Tribology & Lubrication for E-Mobility Conference, held during the fall or winter, is a hybrid technical conference for industry professionals participating in educational sessions and networking discussions with leading experts and companies with an interest in e-mobility. Attendees learn about the latest challenges and opportunities of electric vehicle (EV) technologies impacting the tribology and lubrication field.
