STLE Virtual Symposium: Digital Tribology
July 19 & 20, 202
3
8:00 am - 12:00 pm CT
Thank you for attending the Virtual Symposium
Structure and Scope
The symposium will bring together leading computational, experimental, and data scientists
for
two half-
day
discussions geared towards
advanc
ing
our understanding of mechanical, chemical, electrical processes on surfaces, lubricants
,
and
tribosystems
.
The symposium will take stock of the ongoing research efforts and devi
s
e new strategies to leverage the upcoming leap in capability due to exascale
computing,
new
artificial intelligence / machine learning (AI/ML
)
methods,
and
novel material and chemical
synthesis and characterization techniques and experimental facilities
to design
sustainable and efficient interfaces
.
