THE DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW PRESSURE OILSEAL

Oilseal is a key component of the hydraulic motor, its pressure endurance is a key factor that restricts the development of hydraulic motor. With the development of hydraulic motor technology, a higher pressure endurance oilseal is needed, however with the increase of pressure endurance, its follow ability reduces contrarily. This makes high pressure oilseal has weaker follow ability, when the shaft has radial runout, this kind of oilseal is more likely to leak. A new structure of high pressure oilseal is developed, this structure can improve oilseal pressure endurance and follow ability at the same time. The structure parameter optimization is made through finite element analysis tool and uniform design experiment method. The optimum design parameters are obtained, by the combination of these parameters the oilseal performance can be further improved.
