Modeling the Rolling Bearing with Consideration of the Inclusions

Bearings are widely used in modern machines. The modern manufacturing and measurement technology are good enough to ensure the bearing perfect geometrical shape. However, bearing defects arising during the use and manufacture will induce increasing vibrat ion, besides varying compliance vibrations. Various researchers have built dynamic model for investigating the vibration of rotor-bearing system. Meyer et al. [1] presented an analytic method for predicting the spectral character of vibrations generated from the effects like misaligned races, eccentric races, off size rolling elements and outer race waviness. Harsha et al. [2, 3] developed an analytical model to predict nonlinear dynamic responses of rotor-bearing system due to surface waviness, which shows that outer race waviness causes vibrations when the number of balls and waves are equal.
