Research on Heat Generation of Ball Screw Considering Load Distribution and Geometry Error

The heat generation of ball screws is one of the important mechanical characteristics of ball screws. The energy loss caused by it leads to lower transmission efficiency, and the heat deformation will reduce the transmission precision. Kim [1] studied the temperature rise and two dimensional temperature distribution of a ball screw system under different preload and rotation by finite element method. Wu [2] studied the temperature increase and thermal deformation of a ball screw system under different preload and rotation speed by experiment.
