Lead Retrieval Instructions for STLE Mobile App

Things to consider
Please note instructions are based on iPhone devices. Android devices will have a slightly different experience.
The STLE Mobile App and Lead Retrieval system (Smart Scan) is provide as FREE service.
The STLE Mobile App is the only option to capture leads from attendee badges.
QR Codes printed on badges are only scannable through the STLE Mobile App. Other QR Code readers and scanning systems will not work.
1. Register Exhibit Booth Staff to gain permission to use Smart Scan
In order to have permission to use the STLE Mobile App Lead Retrieval System (Smart Scan) you must be registered as exhibit booth staff.
If you have not registered your company's exhibit booth staff, please use the
Exhibit Booth Badge Request Form
.
2. Download the STLE Mobile App
Search for “STLE Mobile” on the iOS App Store or the Google Play Store. You can also scan the QR Code on your device for direct access to download the app.
Please login to the app using your STLE Username and Password. This is the same credentials to login to the STLE website.

It is not recommended to use the same login information on multiple devices.
If multiple devices are used to capture leads each individual will have to use their designated login credentials.
3. Access the event and open smart scan
Once you are logged into the app, the first item you will see will be the 2025 Annual Meeting & Exhibition. Click on the event to access all meeting information.
Once in the event you will see the Smart Scan icon on the bottom left corner. Open smart scan to beginning collecting your leads.
4. Attendee Badges
All Annual Meeting attendees will have an attendee badge with a printed QR Code. The QR Code that contains the attendee's contact information.
Only booth staff that have access to use the smart scan system will be able to scan QR Codes.
5. Capture your leads
Please note: You may have a pop screen notifying you that the STLE Mobile App needs permission to use your devices camera. Please allow. (This may be automatic for certain devices)
To scan badges hover your camera over the QR Code. (You will not need to push any buttons this should be automatic)
Once you have scanned the OR Code an optional add notes screen will appear. Add notes if you would like otherwise click submit.
Please note it is very important to click submit. If you do not click submit your lead will not be saved.
6. Where will your leads be stored?
To view all leads, click on the button on screen labelled “View Scanned Leads” this is where all your scanned will live.
7. How to export your leads?
From the View Scanned Leads window, click on the envelope button found on the top right-hand corner.
This will prompt an email window on your device. Use this to email yourself the leads captured from the meeting.
Leads are sent as a csv file attachment that can be opened on Excel.
It is recommended to export your leads daily to ensure that they are safe.
