STLE NextGen Travel Grant Initiative

 
Thanks to donors from our community who have contributed to the STLE NextGen Fund, STLE has launched a new travel grant initiative designed to support rising engineers, researchers, and industry professionals in advancing the tribology and lubrication engineering field without financial barriers.

 
Through the initiative, eligible attendees will receive individual grants of up to $1,000 to support their professional travel to participate in the 2026 STLE Annual Meeting & Exhibition: Innovating Through Tribology & Lubrication, May 17-21, in New Orleans, Louisiana (USA).
 


Eligibility Requirements

  • All career stages, including students, early career professionals, and industry professionals, are welcome to apply, but only current STLE members or unemployed former members are eligible.
  • Ability to attend the 2026 STLE Annual Meeting & Exhibition: Innovating Through Tribology & Lubrication
  • Demonstrate financial need and professional development goals

Deadlines
  • Call for applications opens on March 23, 2026.
  • Application submissions are due on April 10, 2026.
  • Travel Grant recipients will be notified by May 1, 2026.
