Featured Video – Martin Marinack Jr., 2012 Student Poster Winner
The featured video for the month of October comes from one of the 2012 Annual Meeting Student poster winners, Martin Marinack Jr. He was awarded the silver level award for his presentation titled “Experimental Investigations on the Coefficient of Friction & Wear of Single Granules.” Martin is currently a doctoral student in the Particle Flow and Tribology Laboratory at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pa. Martin Research interests include the study of granule flows from a tribological and classical perspective, which has applications to the solid processing, space and fossil-fuel energy industries.
