Conference Overview
This annual conference co-sponsored for more than 50 years by STLE and ASME Tribology Division provides a forum for presentation of technical papers and exchange of technical and scientific information related to research and development in all aspects of tribology, i.e. friction, lubrication and wear. The 2008 IJTC features more than 200 technical presentations in four formats: technical talks based on full-length papers, special symposia, panel discussions and student posters.

Registration
The IJTC 2008 Conference advance registration fee is $520 for STLE and ASME members and $620 for individuals who do not belong to either society. Student and one-day registration rates are also available.
Advance rates available through September 30. Registration fees increase by $100 after that date and for onsite registration (which begins Sunday afternoon October 19).

Don't forget to make your hotel reservation at the Hyatt Regency Miami. The conference rate is $165 per night (US government rate rooms are available on first come basis).
