AMPCO’s 2013 Q3 Outlook of Ontario Power Market

Abstract:
AMPCO’s presentation to member companies of its 2-13 Q3 power market outlook. Along with the market outlook will be a comprehensive forecast of delivered prices for power in Ontario, including price and some comparative analysis of delivery costs for typical customers served by local distribution companies in Ontario will be discussed.
Biography:
As President of the Association of Major Power Consumers in Ontario, Mr. White represents business consumers in the forestry, chemical, mining and minerals, steel, petroleum products, cement, automotive and manufacturing industries with operations in Ontario. AMPCO is a not-for-profit consumer interest organization that advocates for energy policy, law and regulation to promote industrial competitiveness.
Mr. White has a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of British Colombia, a Diploma in Facilitative Leadership from the York University Faculty of Environmental Studies and is a Fellow of the International Leadership for Environment and Development Program.
Mr. White teaches energy policy in the faculty of Applied Sciences and Engineering at the University of Toronto.
