NFPA Webinar: Better Hydraulic System Design - Prevent Leakage
Thursday, July 19, 2012
01:00 PM - 02:00 PM
Join NFPA (National Fluid Power Association) for this webinar on preventing leakage in hydraulic systems through better system design. Available for a fee to NFPA non-members - $50 for this session, or $200 for all 6 in the 2012 series.
Title: Improving performance and protecting the environment through better system design: Using ISO and NFPA standards to prevent leakage in hydraulic systems
Presenter: Phil Robinson, Consultant, Parker Hannifin Corp.
Abstract: External leakage in hydraulic systems represents not only fluid loss, with its attendant costs and safety and environmental concerns, but energy loss as well. Reliable sealing and proper system design can prevent this damaging leakage and improve the safety, efficiency and reliability of the hydraulic system. The presenter will share how ISO and NFPA standards, particularly NFPA/T2.24.2, can help people to design, build and maintain leak-free hydraulic systems.
Cost: Available for free to NFPA members or member companies; available for $50 for non-members. For more information about the series, click here.
