NLGI 79th Annual Meeting: Innovation in Grease
June 9-12, 2012
The Breakers Palm Beach, Florida
Members, and all others interested, are invited to attend. Attendance is always international, and of the 25-30 papers presented, many are by authors outside the U.S.A.
Subject matter includes sessions dealing with grease manufacture, marketing, technical information, product testing, environmental issues and government regulations.
The annual conference encourages networking and fellowship with those within the industry, plus it provides information and instruction, as well as entertainment. An annual business meeting is conducted, informative panels and discussions are held and copies of the various technical papers given by the authors are distributed to attendees.
Running concurrently with the annual meeting is the Institute's unique Grease Education Program with an offering of basic, advanced and application/maintenance courses. The subjects covered in these courses are designed to acquaint both the novice and those with experience about various aspects of lubricating grease. Covered in the courses are details about the many types of greases, manufacturing and testing methods, additives, toxicological considerations and new advances.
