Infineum Trends is a multi-media presentation focused on sharing the most up-to-date trends and developments in the oil, automotive and additives industries. This year marks the 50th anniversary of this globally recognized event. The theme for this year’s Trends show is “Embracing Complexity” and we see how change is requiring companies to deal with increasing levels of complexity to effectively serve their customers. By providing a report of the present and a look to the future, Trends aims to help our customers develop ideas and actions for their business. The presentation will focus on Industry Drivers, Power Transmission, Fuels, Large Engine, Marine, Small Engines, PCMO, HDMO, Base Oil and Growth Economies.
Andy works in Infineums’ Industry Liaison Group which is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key OEMs and various Industry Organizations. Andy attended Oxford University where he received a PhD in Physical Chemistry. He started his career over 20 years ago in the UK with Exxon Paramins and moved to the US in 1988 joining the Infineum JV in 1999. He's currently based at the Infineum Business & Technology Center in Linden NJ.
Andy has worked in a number different roles throughout his career primarily in support of Infineums’ Passenger Car and Heavy Duty business segments both here in the US and in Europe. Andy is currently the Industry Liaison Advisor for the Passenger Car Automotive Segment. He's responsible for coordinating Infineums’ GF-6 development activities as well as other PCMO related activities in Europe and Asia including collaborations with key OEMs. He holds various positions on industry task forces and committees.
Andy is one of the key contributors to the production of the annual Infineum Trends presentation which starts in January. He joins us today to present a selection of the modules of interest to the group from the full Infineum Trends show.
