Turbine oil system flushing can be a very effective maintenance activity. However, whenever a lube system is invaded by humans, the system is exposed to risk. This presentation outlines the multitude of flushing techniques that are commonly used to clean turbine systems and when each technique should be considered. Advice is also provided to avoid common pitfalls and ensure that your facility has a successful flushing experience.
