Luleå University of Technology invites you to the 3rd International Tribology Symposium of IFToMM in Luleå, Sweden March 19-21, 2013
TOPICS
This Symposium will cover the topical themes of tribology including: Friction, wear, lubrication, lubricants, tribology in hostile environment, tribomaterials, solid lubricants, surface engineering, tribotesting, tribologicaldesign and optimisationof machine components, modellingin tribology, biotribology, micro/nanotribology, Tribotronics, tribology in power generating systems, metal working tribology, tribologyin rail and road transport.
OTHER EVENTS
A Young Scientists forum and a High Temperature Tribology Workshop have also been planned in conjunction with the Symposium. The details of these events will soon be available on the Symposium webiste.
LULEÅ UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY (LTU)
The tribology research at LTU is mainly carried out at the Division of Machine Elements (ME). The Division is amongst the World’s leading tribology research groups. It has played a leading role in various National research programmes such as HiMeC (SSF), Interface (SSF ProViking) and Swedish ResarchCouncil (VR) and actively participated in several EU programmes (COST 532, VTI and Marie Curie Actions etc.). The Division is also coordinating the Swedish Research School in Tribology.
