RECIPROCATING SEALS NUMERICAL SIMULATION MODEL AND SOFTWARE

Reciprocating seals numerical simulation model, consists of coupled fluid mechanics, deformation mechanics, and contact mechanics analyses, with an iterative computational procedure, has been constructed. This model can be used for calculating reciprocating seals performance, such as leakage, friction and so on, under different design parameters. A software with user-friendly interface base on this model is developed using GUIDE way in the image processing toolbox of MATLAB. This software can run independently without MATLAB environment, and is convenient for the engineering application.
